The Hill Rom Advanta P1600 bed is one of the most popular hospital beds
ever made by Hill Rom and is a full electric bed that also includes a
“chair position”. These beds are used in hospitals all over the United States
and also popular for home care, long term care and also surgery centers.

The Hill Rom P1600 Advanta bed also includes Trendelenburg, Reverse
Trendelenburg, power up and down and head and foot up and down.
The controls for head and foot up and down are on the inside rails for the
patient and the outside rail and foot board have controls for the caregiver.

This hospital bed uses a foam mattress. A very small number of Hill Rom
Advanta beds also came with an air mattress called a “Zone Air” mattress.
